Project Associate

B.Arch (Hons), Dip Arch, P.G Dip, ARB

Prior to joining Orms in 2018, Paul worked in practices in London and New York and primarily has experience working on the design and delivery of listed and historic buildings. At Orms, Paul has worked on a variety of projects including offices, housing and hotels. He was the lead project architect for the successful planning application and Listed Building Consent for the redevelopment of the former Central Saint Martin’s site in Holborn, which included the Grade II* Listed Lethaby Building. More recently he is Project Associate on the refurbishment and extension to the Grade I Listed Custom House and the Grade II listed One Hanover Street.

What does ultrapractical mean to you? Leading the development of One Hanover Street, a sensitive refurbishment and extension of a Grade II Listed Building on Regent Street, has reinforced my belief in practicality through thoughtful adaptation. I enjoy understanding how a historic building works and exploring what is possible to conserve and enhance it. One Hanover Street exemplifies Orms' ultrapractical approach: delivering exceptional office space that balances heritage protection with contemporary needs for sustainability and efficiency.
