BA(Hons), PGDip, ARB

Alisha joined Orms in 2017 following completion of her undergraduate studies at the University of Brighton. She subsequently completed her Part 2 at the London School of Architecture and Part 3 at the University of Westminster. Alisha's experience includes developing façade packages for the former Central Saint Martin's site, a 420-bed hotel and mixed-use masterplan working sensitively alongside the Grade II* Listed Lethaby building.

As Project Architect on 20 Air Street, she led the delivery of the internal retrofit of typical office floors, main reception and end of use facilities, with a focus on material reuse potential. These works formed part of Orms' pioneering material passports research. Alisha is currently working as Project Architect on The Ribbon, a commercial-led mixed-use project located on Oxford Street.

What does ultrapractical mean to you? Ultrapractical architecture combines thoughtful design with material intelligence. Working on projects like 20 Air Street has shown me how innovative reuse strategies can transform existing buildings while reducing environmental impact. At Orms, I value our approach to finding practical solutions that respond to complex briefs through collaborative processes and careful consideration of context. By drawing on collective experience and embracing adaptive design principles, we create architecture that is both resilient and responsive to changing needs, balancing aesthetic aspirations with tangible sustainability.
