We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for both Practice of the Year and Sustainability Initiative of the Year in this year’s hashtag #AJ100—a recognition that comes during a truly remarkable period for us:

  • We achieved B Corp accreditation.
  • We grew our team from 65 to 105 over the past 18 months, following a period of exceptional business success.
  • We co-authored a policy paper on materials passports in partnership with Lancaster University and Dr. Ana Rute Costa.
  • We seconded Associate Director Rosie Bard to contribute to the development of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard.
  • Under the leadership of Associate Director Rachel Hoolahan, we are excelling material take-back on a number of schemes with several manufacturers.

Practice of the Year:

"Orms has expanded its headcount from 65 to 105 in the past 18 months after experiencing ‘exceptional’ business success in the commercial office and hotel sectors. It has helped further use of materials passports with a policy paper co-authored with Lancaster University, and has seconded associate director Rosie Bard to assist in the development of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard. The practice is also working to develop material take back schemes with different manufacturers."
