Rosie has been an integral member of the Orms team since 2011, with over 15 years' experience working in London practices, she has delivered complex commercial, education and cultural projects. She now leads our practice's strategy for regenerative design, with a focus on net zero, embodied carbon, strategic sustainability training and reviews. Through these in-house reviews, training and benchmarking she provides invaluable guidance to project teams in achieving sustainability goals.
What does ultrapractical mean to you? For me, this means transforming complex environmental challenges into clear and actionable design solutions. Going beyond the practical, it incorporates a deep systems thinking approach to understand the interconnectivity and impact of our decisions to embed a regenerative mindset into our everyday culture. I've developed an in-house toolkit to assess the sustainability and regenerative capacity of our schemes and recently completed work as technical project manager for the UK Net Zero Building Standard.
