What does ultrapractical mean to you? Working across the Estate of Waterhouse Square and 15-23 Lincoln's Inn Field, I've developed a deeper understanding of ultrapractical architecture through heritage contexts. These projects, both listed and placed within conservation areas, require solutions that respect historical significance while meeting contemporary needs. I’ve contributed across multiple design stages, largely focusing on internals, including reception designs, detailed areas, and EOT facilities across both projects. Central to my approach is thorough historical research, allowing me to craft key historical narratives that inform design decisions. This methodology ensures our work is both contextually respectful and practically effective, capturing the essence of ultrapractical design.
