NLA West End 13th October.
The day started with a conference and panel discussion covering a number of topics:
How will the pedestrianisation of London’s busiest street really work? What movement strategies and public realm improvements are in the pipeline to accommodate the influx from Crossrail and potentially Crossrail 2?
How are London’s Estates updating their offer and thinking long term about placemaking – what new retail, public realm and office stock is being provided?
What role are cultural institutions playing in shaping the area?
Expert led tours of the West End started in the afternoon with Richard Keating joining the tour of Soho to give a brief on the development in St Giles Circus

Other contributors on the day included:
Jonathan Carter, Rolfe Judd
Edward Sneddon, Derwent London
Harbinder Birdi, HawkinsBrown
