Recent data suggests that 30% of registered UK architects are women, while 70% are men. However, the proportion of female architecture students is much higher — in most years around 50%. At Orms, we’re committed to doing better and taking action to shift this staggering trend, so for International Women’s Day 2025, we welcomed Urna Sodnomjamts to our studio to help us understand more about how we can be more inclusive – both in our design process and in the way we practice.
