Orms becomes founding signatory of Circularity in Practice taskforce – a new nationwide reuse initiative inspired by His Majesty King Charles III.
Orms is proud to announce it has become a founding signatory of Circularity in Practice, a new nationwide reuse initiative inspired by His Majesty King Charles III, launched on March 16th in Manchester.

The initiative brings together businesses from across the UK to accelerate the adoption of circularity within the built environment by sharing practical tools, templates and case studies to help organisations of every size design out waste and embrace reuse, recycling, remanufacturing, and repurposing. Building on His Majesty's lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship, the initiative helps companies create value and reduce costs without relying on regulation or subsidy.
Orms joins a broad coalition of founding signatories including Sir Robert McAlpine, JLL, McGee, Great Portland Estates plc, Tata Steel UK, Saint-Gobain, SUEZ, and the British Chambers of Commerce, among many others.
By taking the pledge, Orms commits to further embedding good environmental practice across the business, building on its B Corp commitments, and strengthening its approach to materials reuse – from large-scale projects such as 75 London Wall to its own office fit-out.
Orms Director John McRae said: "It’s an honour to be the first architecture practice in the UK to sign the Circularity in Practice pledge and support the initiative to make material circularity the default across the industry. Together, we can keep materials in use, minimising waste and unlock value from existing resources to create a more regenerative, low-carbon built environment for future generations."
