Zach joined Orms in 2024, bringing experience from practising as a registered architect in New Zealand with expertise across recreational, community, and commercial projects. Over his 4 years at Architecture HDT, he progressed from intern to registered architect, gaining experience on projects ranging from $3-5 million (NZD) office refurbishments up to a $35 million (NZD) commercial development.
Zach combines technical proficiency with clear, effective communication, allowing him to contribute meaningfully across all stages of a project. He has extensive experience producing documentation across a range project types, consistently balancing aesthetic, technical, and functional requirements to deliver practical design solutions.
What does ultrapractical mean to you? Ultrapractical design integrates creativity with deliverability, producing architecture that carefully resolves complex challenges. Throughout my career, I've developed solutions that satisfy aesthetic ambitions while thoughtfully addressing technical requirements.
