What does ultrapractical mean to you? Ultrapractical architecture responds to both present needs and future challenges. As Project Architect for One Hanover Street, I'm navigating the complex balance of retrofitting a historic Regent Street building to create high-quality, low-carbon workspace while respecting its heritage. This approach extends to my wider contributions through mentoring with Open City Accelerate Programme, the Architecture in Schools programme, and my previous role on the RIBA North London Architects Group committee—all focused on addressing real challenges through collaborative, forward-thinking design.
