What does ultrapractical mean to you? To me, architectural design is an emotive process—great architecture compliments our fondest memories. Ultrapractical architecture emerges when technical rigour meets creative problem-solving, and throughout my career, I’ve strived to achieve design excellence within real-world constraints. Whether navigating heritage sensitivities, coordinating complex building systems, or integrating sustainable strategies, I see each challenge as an opportunity for innovation. At Orms, I’m excited to continue developing designs that balance aesthetic ambition with practical deliverability—solutions that are not only thoughtful and buildable but resonate with the people who use them.
