Emmanuel joined Orms in 2024 after seven years at AHMM, bringing significant expertise in commercial retrofit projects and technical package delivery. A graduate of Canterbury School of Architecture and the University of Bath, his academic excellence was recognised through the Hand Drawing Competition and Environment and Sustainability Award. His professional experience includes envelope design for the award-winning Soho Place, which received commendations at both the WAF Future Commercial Mixed Use Awards and MIPIM Future Project Awards.

What does ultrapractical mean to you? Ultrapractical architecture transforms complex technical challenges into elegant, sustainable solutions. At Orms, I'm applying this philosophy to St Martin's Le Grand—a deep retrofit and extension of a central London office—where I oversee multiple packages and lead consultant coordination. This builds on my experience leading facade and atrium glazing packages at 242 Marylebone Road and developing internal designs for Lansdowne House. Ultrapractical means delivering architectural excellence through meticulous attention to detail, collaborative problem-solving and a commitment to environmental responsibility.
